The trailer launch of the digitalised version of legendary Sivaji Ganesan’s 1972 blockbuster Vasantha Malaigai took place in the city was a grand event that saw the reunion of some of them who worked in the film.
A yesteryear classic from Sivaji’s filmography, it was directed by KS Prakash and produced by Ramanaidu. Music by ace musician KV Mahadevan was one of the main stays of the film.
The enhanced version was done under the supervision of popular writer and filmmaker VC Guhanathan. Sivaji’s son Ramkumar, SP Muthuraman, Guhanathan with his wife actress Jaya, Chithra Lakshmanan, P.Susheela, Nagaraja and Ramu were among those present on the occasion.
