Koratala Siva starts work on Devara Part 2 script
Director Koratala Siva has officially begun work on the script for Devara Part 2, collaborating with a team of writers to create an engaging and powerful screenplay. Sources say discussions for the sequel's plot and key scenes have been underway for several weeks now. Siva aims to craft a story that aligns with the larger-than-life image of the film's lead, superstar Jr. NTR, and continues the momentum set by the success of the first film.
After their successful collaboration in Janatha Garage, NTR and Koratala came together again for Devara, which proved to be a massive hit in Telugu states, as well as in the Hindi belt and other regions. The film largely revolved around NTR's charismatic performance, with the actor taking center stage as the tribe's leader in the hilly terrains of Andaman Nicobar Islands, where the plot features a tribe of former warriors turned smugglers. The first part ended with NTR’s character claiming the title of ‘Devara’ and avenging his father’s death.
The sequel promises more twists and character development, with NTR continuing as the ‘face of fear.’ Key characters from the first film, including Janhvi Kapoor and Srikanth, are expected to return in the second installment.
In the meantime, NTR is set to wrap up his role in War 2 before moving forward with projects like his upcoming collaboration with director Prashanth Neel, known for KGF and Salaar, which is expected to be another high-action adventure.
