MAA to revoke suspension on Hema, based on reports?
Recently, the Telugu Movies Artistes Association suspended actress Hema for her alleged involvement in a drug case, but now the top office-bearers and other members are going to be considerate if she comes up with valid documents to prove her innocence. “She has been in touch with top office-bearers and other executive committee members and claimed that she has tested negative and would present those reports before the guild very soon,” says a source who adds, “If the executive committee members unanimously find her to be innocent after going through her reports, they would definitely revoke the suspension since actors union is here to support members and not penalize them”, he adds. ‘We know actors have to work hard to make their living and we’ll always support them without any prejudice and bias,” he points out.
He claims that even in the future if some of their 800-odd members are accused of indulging in drugs and stuff, they would be sent to rehabilitation centres to make them normal and healthy. “It is kind of a futuristic decision and would help members to wriggle out of their bad habits and make a successful career in the industry," he explains.
Meanwhile, actress Hema is going all out after testing negative in drug reports at a lab and she revealed the same via a video on her Instagram. ‘I have received negative reports and I am saying this not just to satisfy anyone but just to say I have come out clean on this issue,’ she says and adds, “I am open to any kind of tests related to drugs because I have nothing to hide. I know many vested interests are spreading false news so I want to end it,” she adds.
Adding further, she says “I have sought an appointment with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and also Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan to explain about my innocence and I seek all your support to get their appointments,” she concludes.
