Q: Could you share a bit about your journey into music and what inspired you to become a singer?
A: I always loved music from childhood, but becoming a singer wasn’t an initial ambition. Music was a significant part of my life due to my family's appreciation and exposure to it. Eventually, I had to choose between academics and music, and I chose music.
Q: What were you studying?
A: I have a bachelor's in engineering (B.Tech) and a master's in laser science (M.Tech).
Q: Who are some of the artists or genres that have influenced your music style?
A: I am influenced by classical artists like Ustad Bade Gulamani Khan Sahib and Begum Akhtar, as well as pop and metal music. Bands like Meshuggah and Textures, and artists like Steven Wilson and David Bowie have also deeply influenced me.
Q: Can you walk us through your creative process when composing and recording a song?
A: My process varies. Sometimes I create a melody on the guitar or a loop, and sometimes I compose on pre-written lyrics. I avoid monotony by keeping the process fresh and engaging.
Q: How do you stay away from monotony in your music?
A: When I feel monotonous, I take a break from creating and focus on listening to other music. This helps me regain excitement and inspiration.
Q: What has been the most memorable performance or moment in your career so far?
A: Meeting Bhansali sir and performing in front of legends like Hariharan ji and Anup Jalota ji were unforgettable. A pivotal moment was playing the tanpura at a concert with my guru in my school years, which profoundly influenced my perspective on music.
Q: What are some of the challenges you face in the music industry and how have you overcome them?
A: Many artists are unaware of their rights, such as royalties and publishing. I believe it’s crucial for artists to educate themselves about these aspects, especially in today’s digital age.
Q: Do you have a favorite song or project that you worked on? What makes it special to you?
A: My favorite project is an upcoming EP featuring Rajasthani songs. It’s unique and exciting, combining energetic music with Rajasthani lyrics.
Q: How did you delve into Rajasthani music?
A: The lyricist Avinash Chauhan, from Jodhpur, inspired me. He shared stories and photos of Rajasthan, leading us to incorporate Rajasthani lyrics into my music, creating a vibrant and fun EP.
Q: What are your future aspirations and projects?
A: I’m working on several exciting collaborations and projects. I aim to push boundaries in my music, blending creativity with new opportunities.
Q: How do you feel about your fan base, and is there a message you'd like to share with them?
A: I’m grateful for my musically educated fans who support me wholeheartedly. To new listeners, I hope my music brings them joy and happiness. I strive to create good music and make a positive impact.
Q: How do you view the current state of the music industry, especially in terms of opportunities for new artists?
A: The industry is thriving with opportunities due to social media and digital platforms. It’s easier now for new artists to reach audiences and experiment with their music.
Q: Outside of music, what are some of your passions or hobbies and how do they influence your music?
A: I enjoy traveling, especially to jungles and hills. This connection with nature influences my music by providing fresh perspectives and inspiration.

A: Yes, I have been to Hyderabad. It was a significant moment for me as I recorded a song for Mr. M.M. Kreem there. I enjoyed the biryani from Paradise.
Q: Tell us about "Aaj Ki Raat." How did that come around?
A: Working with Sachin-Jigar, they approached me for "Aaj Ki Raat" late at night. I was initially hesitant but ended up recording a song I felt deeply connected to. The song’s release was exciting and fulfilling.
