“A few issues need to be ironed out, and Mokshagna wants more clarity before moving forward. As a result, the film is taking longer than expected to go on floors,” says a source close to the family.
With little progress on resolving these differences, the young actor is also considering other options. “If the delays continue, Mokshagna may team up with another Telugu director for his maiden film. His father, Balakrishna, along with his mother and sisters, have given him complete freedom to choose his projects, and he is in no rush—he wants the perfect debut,” the source adds.
Last year, Mokshagna and Prashanth seemed to be on the same page, even completing a week-long photoshoot where the actor, having shed weight, impressed fans with his transformed look. The pictures went viral, fueling excitement about the collaboration.
