Actor Salim Kumar opens water kiosk at Kaloor

As part of the initiative, more than 60,000 litres of water has been supplied at many places in the district.

KOCHI: As part of the ‘Own Your Water’ project initiated by actor Mammootty to tackle the water crisis, a drinking water kiosk was inaugurated by actor Salim Kumar on the Kaloor private bus stand premises on Monday.

Addressing the gathering Mamootty said, “We have to find out our own sources to fulfill our water needs. During the next monsoon, we should take preparatory measures to meet the drought in coming summer seasons."

Actor Kunchako Boban inaugurated the kiosk set up near the KSRTC bus stand. Vigilance SP R. Nishanthini was also present. More than 60 kiosks, which will provide water round the clock, are being set up at various places in the city. As part of the initiative, more than 60,000 litres of water has been supplied at many places in the district.
