Apoorva Bose back on silver screen

Apoorva Bose is back on the silver screen and this time doing something totally different from what she has done before. She made her debut in Malarvadi Arts Club in 2010. After her characters in films like Pranayam and Padmasree Bharat Dr. Saroj Kumar, the actress has returned with director Shyamaprasad’s Hey Jude. She acts along with the big names of the industry like Nivin Pauly and Trisha.  After a short break from the industry, she was concentrating on modeling before getting a call for Hey Jude.

“I was so excited to get an offer from a director like Shyam sir. This role is very different from the other roles that I have done. Shyam sir handed me the script and gave me an idea of the film and my character,” says Apoorva. In the movie, she is acting as Nivin Pauly’s sister. Her character’s name is Andrea, who is a smart, active and happy-go-lucky kind of girl.

Apart from Nivin and Trisha, the main cast includes Siddique, Neena Kurup, and Vijay Menon. 

“The crew was fabulous and except Nivin, I was acting with most of the crew for the first time. But that didn’t affect us at all and everything went well.” 

This is her second film with Nivin Pauly in a gap of four years. Their first movie together was Malarvadi Arts Club. When asked about working with Nivin after a long gap, she said, “I never felt any difference. He is a good friend and really supported me. I had a very good time with the whole crew of Hey Jude while shooting”.

Apoorva, who practices law, says there are some projects in the pipeline and discussions are going on. ”I will take up an assignment if I get good characters.”
