Idam going places

After the world premiere of the film in New York International Film festival, Seema had bagged the best actress award in OIFFA, 2019, Canada.

Idam (Abode), starring Seema Biswas and Hareesh Peradi, discusses the life of a 70-year-old widow, who, living alone, battles anxiety, fear and hallucinations about death. Scripted and directed by Jaya Jose Raj, the film has been selected to the competition section of Washington DC, South Asian Film Festival and New Jersey Indian and International Film Festival.

After the world premiere of the film in New York International Film festival, Seema had bagged the best actress award in OIFFA, 2019, Canada. Jaya’s daughter Nidhi R. Raj has also acted in the film. Idam, which also has on board actors Anil Nedumangad and Abhija Sivakala, was inspired from the life of the director’s mother, who decided to stay back at her ancestral home when her sons moved out pursuing their jobs.
