Excited to share screen with Mammukka: David John
He has got two other projects in the pipeline including Jhimmiki Kamal and one more with Mammootty.
Though David John has acted in Iyobinte Pusthakam, Chandrettan Evideya, Adi Kapyare Kootamani, The Great Father and Georgettan’s Pooram, it was his role in the short film Love @ the First Fight that got director Ajai Vasudevan’s attention and a role in the Mammootty starrer Masterpiece.
Playing the role of a college student who is a part of the Royal Warrior’s gang, David is happy that he got a character that gave him enough screen space. More than that he is excited to share screen space with Mammootty. He says, "When Ajai told me the one liner, I did not listen to the complete story or about my role.
That Mammukka was there was sufficient to nod my assent to the character. It has been great to share screen space with Mammukka.” David mentions that the initial days of the shooting were with co-stars, all almost of the same age group. He adds, "The first fifteen days the shooting was almost like all of us were at a real campus. There was the same teasing and friendship amongst us all.” He has got two other projects in the pipeline including Jhimmiki Kamal and one more with Mammootty.
