Appani Sarath in Mani Ratnam's next

With three projects in his kitty from Kollywood, Appani Sarath is all set to win over hearts in Tamil Nadu. Sarath, however, is over the moon as his latest project is with director Mani Ratnam. “The shoot will begin in March,” he says. The movie named Chekka Chivandha Vaanam is a multi-starrer and has a stellar star cast comprising Aravind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathy, Chimbu, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Prakash Raj, Thiagarajan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aiswarya Lakshmi, to name a few. 

Sarath had just completed the shoot for Sandakozhi 2 . “By the time the shoot was over, I was called for this project. It is more of a character role. In Sandakozhi, I play a negative role. The other Tamil film I am part of is yet to be named.” Sarath is also shooting for a Malayalam project, Contessa, in which he plays the lead role.
