Mammootty in Streetlights, Shamdat's directorial debut

After cranking many hit films in around four languages, Shamdat Sainudeen is now all set to wield the megaphone. According to a source close with the team, his debut directorial venture titled Streetlights will start rolling by end of this month. Yet another highlight of the project is megastar Mammoootty will essay the lead role.

“Streetlights will be an out and out thriller. The crew is currently busy with the final discussions regarding the shoot and it is too early to divulge more details of the project,” says the source. Sham who is noted for his works including Kamalhassan’s Uttamavillain, Viswaroopam 2 and Rithu, has earlier operated camera for Mammootty’s Venicile Vyapari and Pramani.
