Musthafa to direct Sreenath, Anna Ben and Roshan Mathew
The film will have Jimshi Khalid as the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam as the composer.
When an actor ventures into direction, the general excitement would be high. What if the actor is a National Award winner? Hopes would be even higher! Musthafa, who had won a Special Mention at the 2014 National Awards for his performance in Sidhartha Siva directorial Ain, is all set to wield the megaphone.
The Malayalam movie will have Roshan Mathew, Sreenath Bhasi, Anna Ben, Sudhi Koppa and Jafar Idukki playing the lead roles. The yet-to-be-titled film also has on board actors Navas Vallikkunnu, Sudheesh, Vijilesh Karayad and Nisha Sarang.
Brought out under the banner of Kathas Untold, the film is scripted by Musthafa, Nikhil Wahid and Sudas. Jimshi Khalid, the man behind the beautiful frames of Mayanadhi and Anuraga Karikkinvellam, has been roped in as the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam, as the music composer. The songs of the film will be penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. The art direction will be handled by Anees Nadodi, who worked behind Luka, Thamasha and Sudani from Nigeria.
The film will go on the floors by September end.
