Dulquer Salmaan to wear khaki
The film will feature Ezra star Ann Sheethal in the female lead.
It has been more than five years since Dulquer Salmaan stepped into the film industry with Srinath Rajendran directed thriller film Second Show. In this period, the only film which came out with the actor playing the role of a police officer was Lal Jose’s Vikramadithyan, in which he acted as an IPS officer.
For the first time in his career, Dulquer is going to enact the role of a Sub Inspector. According to sources, he will act as a cop in Salam Bukhari’s film. “Though he acts as a police officer, this yet to be titled film cannot be tagged a police story. It carries all types of emotions,” says the source, who prefers anonymity.
The film will feature Ezra star Ann Sheethal in the female lead. Anto Joseph will bankroll the movie, which will have Best Actor scribe Bipin Chandran and newbie Sivaprasad in the scripting camp.
