Actress abduction case: Kerala High Court permits Dileep to go abroad
As per the conditions, he has to submit his visa details, place of stay and phone numbers to the magistrate court as an affidavit.
Kochi: The Kerala High Court has relaxed the bail condition of actor Dileep and permitted him to visit Dubai for the inauguration of a restaurant promoted by him. Dileep has been allowed a four-day stay abroad and a total of seven days for the completion of travel. The court has also directed the Angamaly magistrate court to release his passport for six days.
The permission was given on strict conditions even as the prosecution opposed Dileep’s petition. As per the conditions, he has to submit his visa details, place of stay and phone numbers to the magistrate court as an affidavit.
The prosecution held that Dileep will influence the witnesses in the actress assault case. It also submitted instances of his attempts in influencing witnesses after being granted bail. Two witnesses had retracted their statements. The function in Dubai is scheduled to be held on November 29.
