Ramaleela reaches screens on Ramzan
Prayaga Martin plays the female lead in the film directed by debutant Arun Gopy.
A new political thriller called Ramaleela with Dileep in the lead is nearing completion. Arun Gopy, who has worked as an assistant and associate director for six to seven years in the Malayalam film industry is turning director with the film, produced by Tommichan Mulakupaadam under the banner of Mulakupaadam films. “Sachi is the writer, camera is by Shaji Kumar, editing by Vivek Harshan, and music by Gopi Sunder,” Arun says. Prayaga Martin plays the female lead.
“An important character is played by Radhika Sarathkumar, as Dileep’s mother,” he adds. “Dileep plays an MLA. There is also a layer of humour in the film.” Mukesh, Siddique, Saikumar, Kalabhavan Shajon, Vijayaraghavan also play important characters in the film. The film has one more schedule in Maldives, and the team is headed to Maldives on March 27. “The film is expected to release for Ramzan.”
