Shahi Kabir to script for Martin Prakkat
Shahi, a civil police officer with the Kerala Police, had presented a hard-hitting narrative in his debut work, Joseph.
The reports that Kunchacko Boban and Joju George are teaming up for Martin Prakkat’s new film after the Dulquer Salmaan hit Charlie have set hopes high. The latest news from the camp is that it will be Shahi Kabir who will be scripting the film. Shahi made his debut as a scenarist through the Padmakumar directorial Joseph. Shahi, a civil police officer with the Kerala Police, had presented a hard-hitting narrative in his debut work, Joseph. Martin confirms, “Yes, Shahi will be scripting my upcoming film that will go on floors in January.” Quizzed about the genre, Martin prefers not to reveal anything more. Martin is jointly producing the film with director Ranjith’s Gold Coin Motion Pictures.
Back to Shahi, he has already announced his next film — a sports drama titled Aaravam reportedly based on the snake boat race of Kerala. The Tovino Thomas starrer will be directed by debutant Jithu Ashraf.
