Agarbathis actor against smoke
The director is of the opinion that both Jabbar and Jasim have showed justice to the character.
Jabbar Chemmad, an upcoming actor who was seen in the movies Punyalan Agarbathis and Thank You, is delighted to be a part of Starting Point, a short-film of two-minute duration that sends out a message against smoking. The movie that revolves around the life of a middle class family consisting of a father and son is brought out by Stadium Film Club, Kochi. While Jabbar Chemmad plays the role of father, Jassim Jabbar appears as son in the movie.
The director is of the opinion that both Jabbar and Jasim have showed justice to the character. It is Jasi’s debut performance and the two characters, through their performances convey a strong message to the audience. Starting Point is written and directed by Jamnas Muhammad, who is known for his hit short films Kozhikodan Halwa, Ente Achanum, Cheriya Manushyarum Valiya Padangalum, and Padam 1. Camera is cranked by Parameshwaran Namboothiri, who has worked with the Honey Bee team. Music is scored by Ranil.
