Santhanam replaces Rajeev in Dulquer's next

There were reports that noted cinematographer and filmmaker Rajeev Menon will debut in his mother tongue, Malayalam, with Pratap Pothen’s next directorial venture, which has Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Now, the latest news is that the Kadal fame cinematographer has been replaced with Santhana Krishnan, who has earlier cranked the camera for Dileep’s Two Countries.
When quizzed about this, Pratap says “Yes... Santhanam will be my cinematographer. I have liked his work for his previous projects.”
Santhana Krishnan is the son of award winning cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran. “I am happy to appoint Santhanam as the cinematographer in my film, which is being produced by my brother Hari Pothen’s Supriya Film corporation.
Ravi K. Chandran’s very first film as an assistant was produced by Supriya, when Ravi’s brother Ramachandra Babu was Supriya’s regular cinematographer. I am really excited to collaborate with the new-gen cameraman from that family,” he says. The film is being jointly produced by Supriya and Rejaputhra Visual Media.
