Lessons Vineeth Sreenivasan picked from Sameer

Vineeth Sreenivasan says experience he gained while working with other directors in the role of an actor has helped him a lot in his directorial ventures.
“While acting in Chappa Kurish, I could see Sameer ikka (Sameer Thahir) filming many scenes without the knowledge of the public. He showed me how to do the work of a director even in a difficult situation.

While filming Jacobinte Swargarajyam, the location we chose to film some important scenes were full of Malayalis who could easily identify the actors among us. The ‘lessons’ I got from Sameer ikka helped me a lot to tackle such situations,” says the director, who is all set to join the sets of Jude Anthany Joseph’s upcoming film Oru Muthassi Gadha as an actor.
