Anwar Rasheed directs Alphonse Puthren

Director Anwar Rasheed announced the title of his new film  Trance, starring Fahadh Faasil, with a Facebook post on Wednesday. Among the cast is director Alphonse Puthren who made the popular Premam. It is a sort of comeback film for the director whose last feature film was the Dulquer-starrer Usthad Hotel in 2012. He had directed one of the five films in the anthology Anchu Sundarikal and had produced hit films like Bangalore Days, Premam and recently, CIA.

Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan, Sreenath Bhasi and Chemban Vinod are also part of the cast. The cinematography is by Amal Neerad and the story is by Vincent Vadakkan. The film is expected to hit the screens in April, 2018.
