Dileep's business deals and his alleged marriage before tying the knot to ex-wife Manju Warrier are also being reportedly investigated.

Kochi: The Kerala High Court is likely to pronounce the verdict on the fresh bail application moved by actor Dileep,  accused in the actress assault case,  on Tuesday.   Legal experts said that the court would  put  certain conditions  if  it  grants him  bail. “The court would consider the stage of investigation and the possibility of the accused using his influence to thwart further evidence collection,” said advocate Sivan Madathil. Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team is aiming to submit an  additional chargesheet in the case within two weeks.

“We’ll soon submit the additional chargesheet. We have  solid evidence  to prove the charges, including conspiracy,” DGP Loknath Behra said in Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier, the hearing on the fresh bail plea had concluded on Wednesday last. The prosecution submitted a sealed cover containing 219 fresh pieces of evidence  against the accused to the court. However, the defence mainly argued that the actor had been framed and that the letter purportedly written from inside the Kakkanad jail addressing Dileep was prepared as part of the plot. The bail application comes up as the actor completes 50 days of  jail life.
