It's official! Pranav Mohanlal to debut as lead in Jeethu Joseph film
The youngster had worked as an assistant director on Jeethu's 'Papanasam' and 'Life of Josutty'.
Mumbai: Seldom has the debut of an actor been so eagerly and patiently awaited as much as Pranav Mohanlal's has been.
The heir apparent to Mollywood supremo Mohanlal, has been working towards it since a while now, gradually yet tirelessly.
And much to the uncontrollable hysteria of the fans of the two, Mohanlal officially announced his son's debut as a lead in his 'Drishyam' director Jeethu Joseph's next.
The youngster, who's worked as an assistant director on Jeetu's 'Life of Josutty' and 'Papanasam,' had appeared in a minuscule cameo alongside his superstar father, in Amal Neerad's 'Sagar Alias Jacky: Reloaded'.
Mohanlal also revealed that the film would be a thriller, to be produced by Anthony Perumbavoor's Aashirvaad Cinemas.
Pranav, who already has a commendable fan following throughout the immensely loyal Malayalee cinephiles, had also won the National Award for best child actor, for his performance in Major Ravi's 'Punarjani'.
With Mohanlal's arch-rival and friend of four decades Mammootty's son, Dulquer Salmaan already having established his mettle and bankability as an actor, fans can't wait to see how the reticent and media shy Pranav is going to perform.
Now, this is one debut as a lead to eagerly look forward to!
