Story:

A group of friends embark on a reunion trip to a picturesque forest area, unaware of the life-altering challenges that await them. Except for the ones who have organised the trip, the remaining get killed under suspicious circumstances. What happened in the forest? Who is killing the tourists? Are the organisers the killers? What is the mystery behind these deaths? All of this has something to do with Raju Gari Kodi Pulao. To know where this plot leads, you have to watch the film on the big screen.

Analysis:

Director Shiva Kona, through this film, wanted to talk about extramarital affairs and what they can do to an individual. The way he started the narration and screenplay was pretty interesting. He started to show the couples, the murders happening in the forests, and the link between the hen and the murder, and that's when you start guessing that the hen has something to do with the killings. But to our shock, the story will take you to a flashback of a young woman's life and the trauma she went through.

The film seamlessly blends a heartwarming romance with a gripping suspenseful thriller, creating an edge-of-the-seat experience for the audience. Shiva Kona's storytelling prowess ensures that the film engages viewers from start to finish, skillfully navigating through various emotions, including romance, suspense, and dark comedy.

Though the plot is dark as it unfolds, there are some scenes in the first half that have a good dose of comedy to entertain the audience. Once the main plot begins, things are turning ugly for the main characters, leading to some violence and action. In addition to these elements, the suspense is what keeps you glued to the seat.

The director made sure that both the first half and the second are entertaining enough to engage the audience with the plot.

Performances:

Prabhakar, as the Raju of pulao, has done a good job. Kunal Kaushal, Neha Desh Pandey, and Prachi Kether, the newbies of the industry, have delivered a clap-worthy performance. Abhilash Bhandari, Ramya Dinesh also did a decent job. Shiva Kona, the director, himself played the lead role and has done a good job as an actor as well.

Adding to the film's appeal are the breathtaking visuals, captured by the visionary cinematographer Pavan Guntuku, immersing the audience in the beauty of the forest setting. The soul-stirring music composed by the talented Praveen Mani further enhances the cinematic experience, creating an auditory treat for cinephiles. Producers Anil Moduga and Shiva Kona's production qualities are also rich enough.

Verdict:

With such a talented cast, masterful direction, captivating visuals, soulful music, and most importantly a social message, Raju Gari Kodi Pulao is a one-time watch that will entertain you.
