Imagine being able to go back in time and at the same time, freezing the time you are living in! That is the situation which is created for the Helicopter mom, Eela Raiturkar played by our very own Kajol.

To begin with, those who don't know what a helicopter mom is, it means a mother who constantly follows her child, which is again beautifully explained in 'Mumma Ki Parchai' song.

Eela plays a model who turns a musician with the help of her boyfriend Arun, played by Tota Roy Choudhary. Together they write lyrics of a song while Eela goes behind the mike, charming the world with her voice.

Eela is just an establishing singer, who is about to get a big break, but things change for her post getting married to Arun and having their baby in Vivaan alias Riddhi Sen.

The just-stepping-into-stardom Eela's focus has now shifted towards her son, so much that she knows exactly when he would step inside their house, and is always curious to know more about him.

No she isn't the typical Indian mom who has a problem with his girlfriend or for the fact that his friends are in a relationship. Eela has her boundaries - she doesn't like shorts - but all of this is nothing as compared to the fact that she is now breathing the same air as her son, watching him all the time, as she has even joined his college!

Riddhi Sen as Viv (what he's usually called) totally wins over hearts, just like Eela, by his adoring ways of behaving with Eela. In fact he has a reason to even storm out of his own house and that reason too is sure to touch your heartstrings.

A wonderful actress already, Kajol is the sure shot reason you love watching Helicopter Eela throughout. Her expressions and antics are something which only she could pull off with such nuance!

The film goes through little lows as the drama quotient increases but there aren't many complaints since Kajol manages to bring you back in the mood without even trying too hard!

Pradeep Sarkar has gone soft on his film this time unlike all his past works, but manages to make a sweet, family film, which is a diversion from the kind of intense and dark films that run in theatres almost every week.

The high point of Helicopter Eela also lies in the cameos by some well-known names from the industry, including Mr. Amitabh Bachchan!

Helicopter Eela is a cute one-time watch with your family, so once you have seen Tumbbad and have nothing else to do, go ahead with Helicopter Eela, especially if you are a Kajol fan, since she doesn't disappoint in her acting.
