Lawsuit filed against Pitbull
The rapper's company is being sued by a Florida state lawmaker, for his video Sexy Beaches.
Rapper Pitbull’s production company has been sued by Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran, after the latter demanded to know just how much he was paid by the state government to promote tourism in the state, through the video of his song Sexy Beaches, that released in 2014.
According to Dailymail.co.uk, Richard had said, “This suit is not about Pitbull or his compensation. This is about the audacity of government entities who are under the false impression that they are above the law or believe somehow that taxpayer money is a never ending river of riches they get to play with.”
In the music video for the song, Pitbull had reportedly featured two dozen beaches from the state, including landmark hotels, and ended with a shot of the words “#LOVEFL” written in the sand.
