Need more music festival for collective good, says Koustav Ghosh
Koustuv has always been multi-talented and music is his first love, but he loves working in films and believes in multi-dimensional career.
There should be some sort of Music Festival for collective good” says the young and talented musician, singer and actor Koustuv Ghosh during his recent media interaction.
Noted for creating some of the most peppiest and popular cover songs, creative artist Koustuv Ghosh talks about “reality signing shows” and other such “singing competition” being redundant.
“I mean, I don’t see a point of competing on a reality show. I mean, what purpose does it serve? I think all mentors, senior artists and big music labels should host an annual music fest, where talent across the nation should come and perform. No competition, no entertainment, just pure talent and music, a collective good. See when you’re not under pressure, creativity flows and being among your own kin, it would be a massive musical talent poll at one place”
“As it is, Music festivals are depleting in India. We need such avenues and programs where musicians – singer, composer, writer, lyricist, instrumentalist, and more – can showcase their talent without fighting for a space” added Koustuv.
Recently, Koustuv Ghosh has introduced a new trend in music world, making a compilation cover song. He took two popular numbers and created a cover song. The latest is climbing the trending charts.
Koustuv has always been multi-talented and music is his first love, but he loves working in films and believes in multi-dimensional career.
He said, “Times are changing and one needs to change and adapt accordingly. Earlier people use to stick with one thing, either singing or acting or creative aspects, but I am aiming for multi-dimensional career growth. Where I am able to sing, act, edit, direct, create, compose, write, and a whole bunch of other creative things. I started doing it with my music videos, I shoot them, edit them, compose them, sing and what not, but I need formal education. So I am heading to NYFA New York Film Academy in Loss Angeles to pursue on filmmaking, acting and music production”
He has dubbed over 1000 radio shows in 12 languages. He has also received the "Pogo Amazing Kids Award" for being the 3rd largest entertainer from India.
Koustuv has also dubbed the recently-reported Spider-Man film. He has also worked with channels like Disney. He has dubbing for the dubbing of Pogo, Nick, Viacom, Discovery, Zee and many more channels!
