Remembering Jagjit Singh

A special screening of Kaagaz Ki Kashti, on the life and times of ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh was organised by Ahmed Alam Khan, on Sunday for the ghazal lovers in the city. Directed by Brahmanand Siingh, the film traces the life journey of Jagjit Singh. Tanvi Jain is the associate director of the film. Talking about the inspiration behind the movie, Brahmanand Siingh says, “Jagjitji was a big part of my growing-up years and I wanted to explore his life. Hence, I made the movie on him.”

The film features celebrities like Chitra Singh, Gulzar, Mahesh Bhatt, Subhash Ghai and Ustaad Zakir Hussain among others, who talk about the legendary singer and share their personal experiences.
