The much-awaited war film, Ghazi, is all set to hit the screens on February 24, 2017. According to a source, the makers are planning to release the film in three languages — Telugu, Tamil and Hindi —on the very same day.

Rana Daggubati plays a Navy officer in this film, which is based on true incidents that took place in the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Taapsee is playing the female lead. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has bagged the Hindi distribution rights.

The film is now in the post-production phase. “We completed the shooting long back and it needs a lot of graphics. It is now nearing completion and we are not in a hurry to release it,” says PVP, the producer.

It is a first for Tollywood to have a film made with a war backdrop, based on true incidents. The makers have roped in actors like Atul Kulkarani and Kay Kay Menon to play key roles in this film.
