Special honour for Ghibran
The composer is all set to participate in a memorial ceremony today, where he will be presented with a special honour.
Musician Ghibran, who recently composed a song to honour the memory of the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the ex-President of India, is being given a special honour by the House of Kalam – the former President’s house in Rameshwaram, which has been converted into a memorial, run by his family and the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation.
The composer is all set to participate in a memorial ceremony today, where he will be presented with a special honour.
“I am overwhelmed that they are honouring me with an award for my contribution to music. Though I’m still a learner, I take this as an opportunity to connect with the youth of India and a motivation to be a part of the change that Dr Kalam wanted by the year 2020,” says Ghibran.
