DJ Shaan Singh was the first Indian DJ to play at the Tomorrowland festival and was the resident DJ at Sunburn at the age of 15 years. A quick chat about his music favoruites:

One song that you listen to on repeat mode on your iPod these days:
I just discovered this fresh track called More Colors by Kidwaste, its something so unique, yet simple.

Five songs in the soundtrack of your life:
Cash Cash’s How To Love (feat Sofia Reyes) Boombox Cartel Remix,    Passenger’s Coins in a Fountain, Shelter by Porter Robinson and Madeon, 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa’s We Own It, Shaan feat. Lauren Evans’s Light Up The World. (I know the last track is my own song, but it’s a really inspiring song.)

Is there a song you love to listen to when you’re:
Happy and upbeat: Axwell Ingsrosso’s Thinkin About You (Dubvision Remix).

Really low: Niall Horan’s This Town.

Working out: Indestructible by Disturbed.

Is there any music you used to love as a kid or a teenager that you’re now embarrassed about now?
Not really. To be honest, I embrace the fact that I used to, and still do, listen to a lot of Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen and Michael Jackson.

How would you describe your taste in music:
Vast.

Your favourite time/way to listen to music during the day:
Well, anytime really. Although, I’m partial to music while watching the sunset.

One band/musician you want a private concert from:
Passenger!

One live act you would love to see at least once in your life:
Adele and Passenger, separately, though.

Which is your favourite music album and why?
Till date, my favorite music album has been Passenger’s All The Little Lights. It’s really diverse and each song tells a story that you can relate to.
