With great albums lined up, the year 2018 seems like a great year for music buffs...
FIRST AID KIT
This is a must-listen and have! After appearing on the Graham Norton Show, their crooning voice and hearfelt lyrics have wowed fans. The Swedish folk duo consists of sisters Klara (vocals/guitar) and Johanna Söderberg (vocals/keyboards/Autoharp/bass guitar). The Swedish pop sister-duo’s new single It’s A Shame, is out this year, and it comes complete with a Sliding-Doors-inspired video. The sisters full new LP, Ruins, which includes both It’s A Shame and another new track is the talk of music fans across the globe. Postcard, too is something that deserves a mention, driven by country slide guitar and Johanna and Klara Söderberg’s close vocal harmonies. The album is out via Columbia in January. In 2015 the sisters were nominated for a Brit Award as one of the five best international groups.
Brothers Osborne
Brothers Osbourne is an American country music duo consisting of brothers T.J. Osborne and John Osborne. Born in Deale, Maryland, the brothers moved to Nashville, Tennessee where they signed a publishing contract with Warner Chappell, followed by a recording contract with the Nashville branch of EMI. The duo released their debut single Let’s Go There in late 2013. The song reached Top 40 on Country Airplay at the end of 2013. This year Brothers Osborne return under their own steam. Their new album is scheduled for release in the spring via Snakefarm Records, and they undertake a headline UK tour in May.
Charlie Puth
Charles Otto Puth is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Puth’s initial exposure came through the viral success of his song videos uploaded to YouTube. Charlie Puth is set to release Voicenotes, a full length LP. To be initially released in January, for now the exact release date appears to be ambiguous at the moment.
