The Zee Theatre teleplay is a nautanki style adaptation of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy ‘Twelfth Night’

This January, immerse yourself in the exuberance of director Atul Kumar's acclaimed

musical 'Piya Behrupiya' that reinterprets Shakespeare's ‘Twelfth Night’ with an Indian twist. The play which has travelled to prestigious international venues like The Globe Theatre and won plaudits for its folk fusion music, choreography and performances, can be relished on the small screen courtesy Zee Theatre.The situational comedy features multiple love stories featuring Duke Orsino, Olivia and Cesario who happens to be Viola disguised as a man.

Filmed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi, the teleplay stars Geetanjali Kulkarni, Amitosh Nagpal, Sagar Deshmukh, Mansi Multani, Mantra Mugdh, Gagan Riar, Neha Saraf, Trupti Khamkar and Saurabh Nayar.
