Kapil Sharma has been entertaining Hindi belt audiences with his comedy shows on different platforms for almost a decade. The show resonates with the audience due to its wit, humour, skits, and celebrity interactions. Most of the main characters are irreplaceable in the show and the hearts of the audience.
One such familiar face from the show, Navjot Singh Singh Sidhu, replaced by Archana Puran Singh, is set to make a great comeback after five years.
Navjot Singh Sidhu shared a short video on his Instagram where he can be seen sitting on his signature chair in 'The Great Indian Kapil Show,' which stirred a lot of confusion among the audience.
The video shows Kapil Sharma getting perplexed by Sidhu's presence and mistakes him for Sunil Grover who frequently impersonates him on the show. Kapil says, "Sunil paaji, aap har dusre din Sidhu paaji ban ke aa jaate ho (Sunil Brother, every other day you show up as a Sidhu Paaji.)"
To this, Navjot Singh Says, "Abey oye! Dhyaan se dekh. (Hey! Look closely. ) Knock-knock! Who is there? Sikh Sidhu."
Later on, Archana Puran Singh nudges Kapil while being nervous and says, "Kapil, tu Sardar sahab se bol de, vo meri kursi se uth jaaye. Kabza kar ke baith gaye hain. (Kapil, tell Sardar Sahab to get up from my chair. He has taken over my seat)”
Then, Harbhajan Singh teases Archana by saying, "Duniya, kuch bhi kahe. Par kisi ke kehne se koi buddhu nahi ban jaata. Kursi pe koi bhi baith jaye, par koi Sidhu nahi ban jata. (No matter what people say, no one becomes a fool, due to others' opinions. No matter who sits on that chair, no one can replace Sidhu.]”
While sharing the video on Instagram, Sidhu wrote the caption which read, "The Home Run …..” Reacting to the post,
To which Harbhajan Singh reacted by saying, “Paji chaaa gaye. Showtime with BOSSMAN”
Full View The episode featuring Navjot Singh Siudhu of The Great Indian Kapil show will be premiered on Netflix on Saturday, November 16.
Navjot Singh Sidhu left The Kapil Sharma Show in 2019 over his remarks on the Pulwama attack in February 2019. Following the attack, Sidhu stated that terrorism should not be linked to an entire country and stressed the need for dialogue instead of hostility.
His remarks ignited a controversy with many demanding his removal from the show.
In response to the public backlash, he was eventually replaced by Archana Puran Singh, who has been a regular on the show since then.
