Not all black & white
Is actor Allu Arjun, facing the heat in the stampede case, trying to convey a message — through his choice of clothes?
He is revered as ‘stylish star’, ‘icon star’ by his fans. As they watch with bated breath the goings-on in Allu Arjun vs police saga, the Pushpa star appears to be making a statement through the clothes he is wearing ever since the police knocked on his doors. On Dec 13 — the day he was arrested, Allu Arjun was dressed in all whites (with flower bhi hai, fire bhi quote on his T shirt). Today, when he turned up at the Chikkadapally police station for questioning, he was dressed in all black. Dressing in white clothing is believed to have a positive effect on a person’s aura as it is a colour that is associated with purity, clarity, and innocence.
Dressing in black is considered a reflection of simplicity, elegance, and sophistication. It is also interpreted as a sign of someone who is confident, empowered, and unafraid to stand out in a crowd. On the legal front, the actor’s team is doing everything possible. On a personal note, Bunny seems to be choosing his clothes carefully, letting them do their bit in damage control.
BLACK & WHITE
“Colour plays a crucial role in life; it shapes trends and moods and leaves a lasting memory when it has an impact. In terms of Allu Arjun’s colour choices, he tends to wear monochromes, a reflection of his simple bloke, who just thinks in black and white,” says Rina Dhaka, fashion designer. Talking about the importance of colour in fashion, she says, “Trends change season after season; there is a billion-dollar trade happening based on essentially the primary change of the colour of the season. It’s also a reflection of a particular era, such as the jazz era, you’ll associate the colour with a specific brand. For example, when you think of the brand Hermes, you’ll associate it with its orange packaging. Similarly, when you think of Ralph Lauren, you’ll likely associate it with green.”
Grilled for 4 hrs
The Hyderabad police here on Tuesday grilled film actor Allu Arjun for four hours after he appeared before the Chikkadpally police for questioning in connection with the stampede that took place in Sandhya 70 MM theatre on December 4. He was accompanied by his father-in-law K Chandrashekhar Reddy. The actor appeared before the police after availing advice from his legal team at his residence on Road No.68 in Jubilee Hills in the morning.
Bunny thanks YRF for shoutout
While Allu Arjun has not made any comment amid the events after the Sandhya theatre stampede, he returned to X on Monday night to express his gratitude to Yash Raj Films. The production house gave a shoutout to Pushpa 2 after it broke several records at the box office. “Records are meant to be broken and new ones push everyone towards excellence.
Congratulations, to the entire #Pushpa2TheRule team for rewriting history books. Fire nahi, wildfire!!!!” said YRF’s post. In reply to this, Allu Arjun wrote, “Thank you … so graceful . Humbled by your wishes. Thank you, I am touched. May this record soon be broken by a heart-melting #YRF film, and may we all collectively move towards excellence.
