India’s first ever dharmik OTT app came unexpectedly with a combination of old shows and several new originals which left many people surprised about it.
An Unexpected Source
Guess what? The same Ullu app that many Indians secretly watch but never talk about is responsible for making this app too funny right!? I won't go into more details about Ullu but it's ironic how these guys got into religious content though
Easily Accessible and Inexpensive Subscription
This new dharmik app is just a click away on the Play Store and gives access to free content. At an incredibly affordable rate, the platform’s subscription goes for only ₹36 per annum if one wishes to have extra features. Yes, you heard it well ‘₹36 per year’ not per month. Therefore, this affordable pricing placed JioCinema in the shadow as Hari Om, the new app takes over.
Content beyond What You Can Imagine
Additionally, there are about 20 Dharmik shows that include titles like Shri Tirupati Balaji; Chaya Grah Rahu Ketu; Maa Lakshmi; Mata Saraswati; and Jai Jagannath. However that’s not all because there are also podcasts, animated shows, two original series making it a one stop shop for viewers.
It remains to be seen how well the app will do with its audience as it embarks on its journey and what changes it makes in OTT landscape but at present it has a captivating mix of modernity and tradition which could cater to any specific yet huge audience.
