However, the film was against stiff competition in Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ and she did not do justice to herself. Khel Khel Mein earned merely over ₹40 crores nett, which was below average during its runtime in the box office. After getting a flop show in Cinemas, the film also known as Khel Khel Mein-Khich Khaahai Khel Hai is being prepared for release on OTT. In this case, it was Netflix, which acquired the streaming rights after theatrical release. The film is scheduled to be streamed on the platform beginning October 9. Still, it is Unknown if the film will be available in other Regional Languages or Not.

Centring on the themes of infidelity and deception at all levels of society, Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz and is an officially authorized Indian version of an Italian movie released in 2016 titled Perfetti Sconosciuti. There is great excitement for the film's upcoming digital debut as ardent fans believe the filmmaker's decision will be better appreciated in the streaming service than it was in theaters.
