Nayanthara to Joker 2: Must Watch OTT Shows

This week streaming platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar air new content ranging from dramas to documentaries. Below are some of the recent OTT releases:

1. Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale (Netflix)

The documentary was released on November 18 as a way to mark the birth anniversary of Nayanthara. This is Nayanthara's biographical documentary. It includes her childhood, career struggles and achievements in the film industry and her family’s background. The documentary includes previous work clips and her childhood pictures. This documentary can be seen on Netflix.

2. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 (Netflix)

This season 2 has 8 episodes and the sequel picks up along the lines and drama of season 1. The series is all about what happens after Purva is declared as missing. The starred cast includes Shweta Tripathi, Anchal Singh and Tahir Raj Bhasin. This season is expected to be full of thrillers and high drama along with romance, and deception. November 22, 2024 marks the season 2 premiere.

3. The Rana Daggubati Show (Prime Video)

This is yet another interesting social talk show and premieres on November 23, 2024. It is hosted by one of the popular actors Rana Daggubati. The audience can expect natural and off-the-script banter sessions with the stars of Tollywood. Some of the guest names include Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya and S.S. Rajamouli among others. The show will air on Prime Video every Saturday.

4. When the Phone Rings (Netflix)

Korean movies have a lot of fans and especially the lovers of thrillers. This includes different stories such as romance mixed with suspense. The film "When the Phone Rings" for instance tells a love story suddenly shattered by a call.

5. Joker 2 (Prime Video)

It is sequel to the 2019 film Joker. It stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. This psychological thriller will be available for rental on Prime Video and is also streaming on Apple TV.

6. Kishkindha Kaandam (Disney+ Hotstar)

Set in the Kallepathi reserve forest, this mystery film follows a couple and forest officials trying to uncover the truth behind strange events in a monkey-populated village. It premieres on November 19, 2024.
