Even though his earlier releases like ‘Vakeel Saab’ and ‘Bheemla Nayak’ were money-spinners in the two Telugu states and few other centres, superstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film ‘OG’ has pan-India potential and is going to be released across India. “The Hindi dubbed version will be released in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow and Gujarat and other important cities in north India to woo Hindi speaking viewers,’ says a Hindi film distributor, who adds, “Being a gangster film, it would enthrall non-Telugu speaking viewers and it's going to have better connect with Hindi movie buffs,” he adds.

He claims that director Sujeeth who made ‘Saaho’ with Prabhas tasted some success in Hindi heartland and would like to expand his base much further with his film with Pawan Kalyan. “Sujeeth is known for making big bang action movies and also prefers subtle emotions from actors, so his style would suit Hindi viewers in a big way,’ he points.
“It is the costliest film in Pawan Kalyan's career and he could give more prominence to this gangster movie over others after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Hence, he would spare three to four weeks for this film in September. Earlier, he has shot some key portions in Mumbai and other places for the action film,” he points out.
He adds, "After vanishing from Mumbai's underworld for a decade, mob boss Ojas Gambheera( Pawan Kalyan) resurfaces seeking vengeance against rival crime lords and it has enough potential to strike a chord with masses. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi would be playing the antagonist in the movie. Priyanka Mohan is the female lead in the film."
