KAVYA to take immersive HYPERREAL show on road in April
Independent musician, who will be next seen in Netflix’s mega production ‘The Royals’, will premiere her new immersive audio-visual production to promote her new upcoming EP, ‘HYPERREAL’;

Multifaceted-artist KAVYA – she is an actor, singer, composer and producer – has developed an immersive, theatrical audio-visual production to take on tour across India in April to promote her upcoming EP HYPERREAL.
The restless creative who at any point is balancing singing projects with fashion shoots and acting roles wanted to create a “a hyper-engaged live experience with worldbuilding at its core” to promote her new EP that should be out in summer of 2025.

The show that travels to all major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad and Bangalore in April and May can be best described as a “highly designed auditory world that invites the audience to dive into a world of hyperreality and introspective storytelling.”
“This tour has challenged me to express my creative greed. Even though these are baby steps, I’m picturing this as a musical theatrical production than just pub-gigging,” reveals KAVYA, as she puts the final touches to a show that also includes Goya on Ableton live, Dhir Mody on drums with visuals by Mumbai-based Moebius aka Nikunj Patel.
The Hyperreal EP tour presents an immersive 60-minute performance that weaves a captivating narrative through released and unreleased tracks. KAVYA explores the theme of archaeological discoveries from the future, blending sounds that evoke a sense of time and space.
Through this immersive experience, KAVYA invites the audience into a hyper-engaged world of introspective storytelling, ably supported by her worldbuilding which even includes jewelry designed by the singer herself as merch, to be launched on April 6.
Fresh from wrapping up the shoot of Netflix’s upcoming modern-day Indian royalty rom-com series The Royals, KAVYA is readying to release her first EP in four years, the four-track HYPERREAL after her well-received debut EP Know Me Better that came out in 2021.
Over the years, the artist has diversified her genre range from R&B, electronic and pop to a more folklore, cinematic and experimental sound with an edge of abrasiveness that she showcases in her soon-to-be-released EP.
“HYPERREAL is my first accreditation as a co-producer and these four tracks mean more to me than my previous releases,” is her honest reaction when asked. “This is the first time I felt confident about sticking to my guns yet allowing Goya’s sensibilities to uplift the compositions further. I couldn’t have imagined a kinder co-producer to work with on HYPERREAL,” she adds.
