Sai Pallavi Denies Turning Vegetarian for 'Ramayana,' Threatens Legal Action
Actress Sai Pallavi, known for her hits like Fidaa and Love Story, has refuted rumors claiming she turned vegetarian for her role as Sita in the upcoming Hindi film Ramayana, where she stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Pallavi warned she would take legal action against "cooked-up" stories.
The actress emphasised that she has always followed a vegetarian diet, and expressed frustration over the ongoing spread of baseless rumors, particularly around her film releases and career milestones. She wrote, "Next time I see any 'reputed' page or media carrying a cooked-up story, you will hear from me legally!"
On the work front, Sai Pallavi is awaiting the release of Thandel, a pan-India Telugu film where she stars opposite Naga Chaitanya. The love story is set against the backdrop of fisherfolk in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh.
