Sai Pallavi in the powerful role of ‘Yellamma’?
After impressing with her rivetting performance in Aamaran, talented actress Sai Pallavi has reportedly agreed to play the role of Yellama in director Venu Yeldandi's next film. Venu's ticket to fame was the heart-touching Balagam. Yet again, he has chosen a Telangana-centric story. Sai Pallavi has been quite choosy with her films and has thumbed down many Tollywood offers.
However, her next Telugu film, Thandel, has triggered a lot of buzz and mostly revolves around her character, who sets out to find her husband Naga Chaitanya, who is stuck in jail in a different country. She is also making a debut in Bollywood with Ramayana and is essaying the revered role of Goddess Sita.
Sai Pallavi has become a household name among Telugu viewers with her hit movies like ‘Fidaa’ and ‘Love Story’ and also for her interesting role in ‘Virata Parvam.' Next year Dil Raju is bankrolling the film with Nithin playing the male lead. A major portion of the film will be shot in the villages of Telangana, according to reports.
