Kannada film actress Sharmiela Mandre injured in Jaguar crash

Bengaluru: Kannada film actress Sharmiela Mandre (33) and a friend of hers were injured in a car crash involving a Jaguar at Vasanthnagar locality during the early hours of Saturday.

According to a policeman of the High Grounds traffic police, the incident took place between 2:50 am and 3:00 am. The car (KA 51 MJ2481) crashed into a railway under bridge that damaged the front portion of the car.

As per sources the medico-legal certificate (MLC) received from Fortis Hospital on Cunningham Road, both Sharmiela Mandre (33) and Lokesh Vasanth K (35) received treatment as outpatients.

The High Grounds police have registered a case and are investigating the case.
