Saripodhaa Sanivaaram clocks Rs 13 cr in 3 days?
No doubt, the long weekend has helped the actor Nani’s latest film ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ has reportedly collected Rs 4 crore on day three and taking the total collections of the much-hyped action to a decent number. “It has garnered over Rs 13 crore share in the last three days and it has to do much better from now,” says a distributor. The film is valued above Rs 25 crores to break even and it has draw more collections in the days to come. “It is good that Nani was back in the media post release and trying to give a boost the collections,” he adds.
No doubt, promotions have helped the film to stay in the reckoning and also draw good openings and now it is the story which has to sustain the movie in theatres and collect more money. “It was sold for a good price and distributors would be waiting for collections to improve and get their share of Rs 10 crore plus money in this week, which is already affected by rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” he points out.
With the film fails to draw big collections on Monday, then it would be difficult for the action film revolving around split personality to outwit the box office collections of ‘Dasara’ which made more Rs 45 crores plus collections. “First it has to surpass Monday test for sure,” he concludes.
