Simran denies rumors, says reports 'disheartening'
Popular actress Simran who made a name for herself in Telugu movies with films like ‘Kalisundam Raa, ‘Narasimha Naidu’ and ‘Daddy, has posted a lengthy note on her social media handle today. Taking to her X account (formerly known as Twitter), Simran said she remained silent after being linked to one or another, and that self-respect comes first. "It's truly disheartening to see how people can emotionally manipulate you and how little your friends seem to care about it. Until now, I’ve stayed quiet, but let me clarify: I’m not desperate to line up and work with any big heroes. I've been there and done that. My goals are different now, and as a woman, I know my boundaries.
For years, I remained silent when my name kept appearing on social media, being linked with one another. But self-respect comes first. "STOP" is a powerful word, and it's the right one here. No one ever reached out or made any effort to end these rumors. No one cared about my feelings.
I’ve never taken advantage of my name; I’ve always stood firm for what’s right. I expect the same integrity from sensible people in the industry.,” she wrote
As per the news report, it stated that Simran discussed the possibility of Vijay working for a film in her production banner, however, he declined it by stating that his films usually cause a stir and court controversies, and he would prefer her to stay away from it.
