Sukumar Bangs His iPhone to the Floor on Sets?

Hyderabad: Reigning director Sukumar seems to be reportedly getting a bit upset over things taking time to fall in place for his next big ticket film ‘Pushpa The Rule’. He was expecting unique performances, while his actors were slightly off the track. “After 40-odd retakes, Sukumar was unhappy with a scene (syndicate members meeting) and shot a few more, but when things didn't turn his way, in a fit of anger he threw down his costly iPhone and walked out of the sets,” says a source, who adds, “Sukumar wanted to deliver one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema and wants every member in the crew to support his vision, but few are lagging behind, causing some concern for ace director,” he adds.
No doubt, the director has become anxious and worried since expectations were rising for ‘Pushpa The Rule’ after ‘Pushpa The Rise’ rocked the box office worldwide. “It is a bit of pressure on the director who doesn’t want to compromise and intends to give his best. He has to take a chill pill because he is supervising three units shooting at different places and rushing against time to wrap up the action-adventure starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika, Fahad Faasil and others,” he points out.
It seems making sequels is a challenging job, “Of course because he made ‘Pushpa The Rise’ without stress and with a lot of freedom. Once it turns out to be a hit, he has to live up to soaring expectations,” he concludes.
