Mansi Sharma takes to belly dancing
Belly dancing not only helps me in to beat the stress, but it also enables me to stay fit, says Mansi Sharma.
Actress Mansi Sharma, who is seen as Queen Avantika in Chandra Nandani, has found a rather interesting way to beat the stress on the sets. The actress happens to be a trained belly dancer and whenever the stress levels are high, she takes to her dance on song Teri Khair Mangdi from Baar Baar Dekho to calm her nerves and lighten up the environment
Talking about the same, Mansi says, “Belly dancing not only helps me in to beat the stress, but it also enables me to stay fit. It is an exercise that I can indulge in on the set itself, since hitting the gym is difficult in between erratic shooting schedules. Apart from me, my co-stars and crew members also enjoy the act. By default the atmosphere becomes stress-free.”
Even though the actress is young and single in real life, she is playing a mother to ten grown up children, who are only a little younger than her. When asked if she is scared of being typecast she says, “Well, as an actor, my job is to perform. This role holds its own against the other key characters. I have no qualms in playing a mother to youngsters on screen. It’s a challenging role and I get to perform and keep myself busy with what I love.”
