Aman Verma - Vandana Lalwani are finally hitched
The rituals were held according to Punjabi tradition, and Aman was also made to pay for his hidden footwear.
Aman Verma is now a married man. After much delay, Aman Verma finally got hitched to Vandana Lalwani in a low-key ceremony held in Mumbai this Wednesday. Only close friends from the industry and family members graced the occasion.
The rituals were held according to Punjabi tradition, and Aman was also made to pay for his hidden footwear. The guest list for the reception included celebrities such as Jayati Bhatia, Delnaz Irani, Aarti Singh, Akshay Dogra, actress Aditi Sharma and filmmaker Anil Sharma among others.
The sangeet too was a private affair since the actors didn’t want to have a lavish function. Speaking about the wedding Aman Verma said, “My family and myself included, were looking forward to this day. My dad passed away just twenty days before my wedding last year so everything had to be postponed by a year. We finally got the date we wanted to get married on. I am very happy with Vandana.”
When we contacted the bride, she was beaming about the new phase in her life. Vandana said, “He calls me Mrs Verma now and I find it cute. I have been waiting for this day for the past one year. In fact, this delay brought us even closer.” She continues, “I was there for him when he lost his father. Being with him during his difficult time has strengthened our bond. The wedding was surreal. He made me sit in the doli and had my friends singing Palki mein hoke sawaar chali re (Khalnayak) for me. That made me cry. Everything felt like a dream.”
