Shivangi Joshi kicked out of Begusarai

Begusarai’s lead actress Shivangi Joshi has been shown the door owing to unprofessional behaviour and poor acting skills, reveals a source from the set. The actress’ character will be bumped off to make way for a new entry in the show. Post-leap, Vibha Anand of Balika Vadhu fame will play the new protagonist in place of Shivangi. She will be paired opposite Vishal Aditya Singh.

Elaborating on Shivangi’s ouster from the show, the source reveals, “The makers were upset with Shivangi’s unprofessional behaviour for quite some time. Her poor acting skills were also adding to their woes. If this was not enough, the actress kept pestering them every month to hike her remuneration. After putting up with the actress’ unreasonable behaviour patiently for a long time, the makers decided to end her track and bring in a new lead as replacement.”

When contacted, Shivangi sounded surprised at the allegations levelled against her by the makers of the show. She says, “I don’t think I was unprofessional or a bad actor for that matter. In fact, I was always made to believe that they are quite happy with my performance. Secondly, as claimed by them, I have never asked for a hike and was pretty happy with my remuneration. All this is completely shocking. I feel bad that it’s ending like this. Yesterday was my last day on the set. This sudden change in the script has been overwhelming for me. It’s better if I don’t say anything more on this.”
