Deserving a chance

 The Youngistaan Foundation (YF) in association with Sutradhar came together on Sunday at Rock Castle to stage a unique play, Kane Raja Ki Nagari — a social satire adapted from Bharatendu Harishchandra’s Andher Nagari Chaupat Raja. The play was performed by underprivileged children from the slum. In an effort to use drama as a creative life skills tool for these young learners, they conducted a two month-long theatre workshop, culminating with the performance. The audience, which included their parents, was in for a treat as they saw the children act on stage.
