40 shades of greying men
The funny men are set to perform their take on life after 40.
What do Indian men do after they turn 40? Find out at this hair-raising act with an unstoppable uproar of giggles tonight with Raëll Padamsee’s ACE Productions 40 Shades of Grey (Hair). India’s funniest comedians Cyrus Broacha and Kunal Vijayakar will tickle your funny bone as they take the stage and leave you in splits and guffaws with some pure, unadulterated laughter at the Good Shepherd Auditorium.
Talking of their theatrical acts, that lampoon the life and times of Indian men after 40, food show host, author (Made In India), actor and director (movies like Ab Tak Chhappan, Salaam Namaste and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon), Kunal Vijayakar states, “While everyone thinks it’s a stand up comedy, my take on the show is different. It’s a mixture of sketch comedy, very topical, mixture of stand-up! It’s everything! It’s madness, it’s extremely crazy and fun. I actually don’t do stand up comedy, Cyrus does more of it and you’ll see him getting a hold of people in the audience and cracking up jokes. I do a little bit of it, frankly I’m petrified of the idea of stand up comedy. I do a lot of sketch comedy on the show. I don’t consider myself to be any particular kind of comedian as I do a bit of everything. I like to consider myself as a very ordinary comedian.”
Promising an evening of chuckling, chortling, cackling, grinning and sniggering actor and comedian Cyrus Broacha shares, “Our show is crazy funny and is more than just standup as we involve the audience in our gigs. Kunal is brilliant with his sketchy comedy. I love performing in Bengaluru.”
He quips adding, “Kunal and I are on a roll and next in line to win the best couple award. There’s a scene on Vijay Mallya and a spoof on Arnab Goswami and lots more such funny acts and punch lines.”
